A Name you can Trust!

If you want a super-professional coach that went to MIT and moonlights at Google, I don’t blame you! When I started out in my career, I wanted to be that person!
It took me at least a decade to realize that I would’ve hated working at a company that size; that my disappointing academic history didn’t prevent me from doing great work. I didn’t get to where I am by being the perfect candidate, and since then I’ve made it my mission to bust down the gates for everyone else whose teachers told them they would never amount to anything.
So - if you feel like you don’t fit the industry, that folks like you don’t belong at the table, let’s prove ‘em wrong!
I spent 10 years designing and developing for some pretty impressive brands. After that, I taught design and frontend development at General Assembly for 9 years - and aside from glowing reviews from my 531 students, I’ve earned a few other distinctions:
Distinguished Faculty
Recognized as one of the top 1% best instructors in GA’s history
UX Product Advisory Board Chair
Lead the development of global curriculum and instructional process
Speaker’s Bureau Founding Member
I regularly spoke at events for Google, Barkley OKRP, and judged Adobe’s 2019 Design Jam.

Here's a few brands I've helped:

Hired on as a consultant, I prevented some truly ridiculous design decisions from being made on their app. I can’t fix our healthcare system, but at least your grandma doesn’t have to wade through an AR experience to find her EOB.
Hell yeah Waste Management! Shout out to Chuck for trusting a young kid with such a huge brand - this was my big break into the industry. Helping to organize trash transport wasn’t as bad as it sounded, even if I’ll never forget those brand colors (#FFCC00 still appears in my dreams)
Hey, remember Angry Birds? Good times. I got to make the eComm site for the now-forgotten IP back when it was the game on the iOS store. I can still remember those ridiculous Halloween costumes . . .
Even though I’ve been sober since 2023, I still have fond memories of working on Bacardi and all their other brands like Grey Goose and Dewars. Every new campaign had a different personality and style, it really helped me expand my skillset in ways I wouldn’t have otherwise.
Alright, listen - are you in love with every client you worked for? I’m not going to lie and say I’ve never worked for companies that have questionable business practices. Maybe my experience can help you learn how to deal with yours.
As an avid gamer, it was amazing to work with Bioware, even if they did spoil the ending to Mass Effect 3 for me over a conference call :/
